Design Plank is the finish-and-design side: specialty wall finishes, color, and interior design. Twenty-plus years, a thousand-plus projects, across Sacramento and Northern California.

Every piece we paint sparks from your ideas — a photo, a sketch, a feeling, a single word — and gets built into something that fits the wall, the light, and the people who live or work in front of it. The idea
Send photos of the wall and anything that inspires you. We'll talk about scale, mood, and how the mural will live with the rest of the room.
The concept
You get a sketch or digital mock-up on a photo of your actual wall, plus a clear quote and timeline. We revise until it's right.
The painting
We prep and protect the space, then paint on site by hand. Most residential murals take a few days; large commercial pieces are scheduled around your hours.
The reveal
A final walkthrough with you, a protective clear coat where it's needed, and care tips so it looks this good for decades.

Based in the Sacramento area, serving Northern California — Roseville, Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Granite Bay, Davis, and up to Tahoe. Traveling from Hawaii all the way to Florida.
Both brands were founded by artist Robert Lindsey, who has spent more than two decades painting and finishing spaces across the Sacramento region. Today it's a family-run business with a growing crew — the same people and the same standard, whether the job is one accent wall or an entire building.
